I finally found the name of this movie I had been looking for!  I rented this from blockbuster way back in the day it and it really was quite different from other stuff out there.  I happened to enjoy it quite a bit.  Apparently this is the Norse Saga that inspired Tolken to write LOTR.

Just a warning, its very long @ 184 minutes.  If you dont care for the story there are some pretty decent fight scenes, and Kristanna Loken plays a damn fine sexy Nordic lass.

I remember  seeing this playing on syfye  a few times. Not a bad movie. Fight choreography was solid too.

Also, did you notice that Ulfric Stormcloak is voiced by Vladimir Kulich, who played Buliwyf in the 13th Warrior.  Great voice acting!

I haven't done anything for the stormcloaks yet after 30 hours or more of playing (i'd say at least 10-15 hours have been afk ALT+tabbed or reading UESP wikis), I just went off and have done side quests and random adventures

I still haven't finished Skyrim.  Might not ever.

I was too disappointed to realize that there was no way I could ever become a Jarl and lead my army around the map taking over Skyrim for myself.  Skyrim is lame compared to Mount & Blade.  And the melee sucks.  ("Ooo, I'm going to click!  And now click again!  I shall click a third time!")

My character is a shielder, so it got a bit more tactical.  Once mob got to me, I'd shield bash his power attack and counter attack him. then keep shield up til they did another power attack, at which time I shield bash to stun them and counter attack again.

I wonder if once SDK is release they could mod in mouse based attacks & blocks like M&B

M&B has ruined any other melee fighting game for me. They will never be as fun or interesting.
