heh, before that someone raged about us all being throwers...cuz we were picking off all the guys dumb enough to try and get up that ladder to gatehouse

after about 3 ppl with throwing you've hit the critical mass to really dissuade ppl advancing on you.  lots of extra ammo to pick up if anyone missed or dies as well

I wanted to use shield to block for him & intercept attacks, can only do so much with longspear to keep people away when there is only 2 of us.  It worked great
