Strange, i applied for the battle when there was absolutely NO ONE on the defenders side, but currently im not on the roster.

Strange 2,  an HRE battle is at 20:00 o clock, no defender from HRE side - maybe because they applied for the 19:00 o clock castle battle???

The AI checks the roster every hour and adjusts the roster so that the AI gets the best fighters (or what the AI believes are the best fighters  )

Eren, take in consideration that castle defenders will have few ammo.

Because at a time, they will run out of arrows.
I explain all the tactic :
First launch your poor troops, then when enemy is weak, launch your elite troops.
In game meaning : use bad armors till defender run out of ammo, then you could use better armors to finnish the job without being hurt by ranged.
Otherwise you will lose good armors in first part of siege as they will be full of arrows (anyway your troops will die)

Wouldn't it be better to use the good armor first so that their arrows harmlessly bounce off your men, as arrows tend to do againist armor.

May be, cause i remember this tactic from old strat when archer were far dangerous.

But if you check roster you'll see that there is a lot of good ranged player in defenders rank, more we have now 90 defenders instead of 60.

Does anyone know if there's a livestream somewhere and the address?
The logic of war seems to be that if a belligerent can fight he will fight.

No, neither do small siege towers. Everything else does, so get the healing tents ready.

The goal of Strategus battles shouldnt be to deprive your enemies of players, but to have full roster both sides and have the gear/tactics/strategy win the day rather than lack of merc support.
