Question: speed Rating and agility

hi all,

first at all, thanks for this awesome mod!!

I have a question:

"speed rating" is the speed  of attack and blocking....the time it takes to click the mouse until you release the shot ¿no?

I have 13 agility in two hands, with heavy great sword and the enemies hit me 3 twice while I want to hit one.

¿Agility increase up the speed rating?

thanks and sorry for my bad english!

In normal Mount and Blade agility increases your weapon speed, but this has been taken away in cRPG. The only thing that affects your weapon speed (apart from the speed rating of the weapon) is the wpf you have in it's category.

And I'm not sure what you meant by "13 agility in two hands". Do you mean you got 13 agility and all in two handed? Or did you mean you got 13 wpf in two handed? If the last one then you have why you don't hit that fast. Usually you want at least 135wpf, but if you go pure you can get up to 140-160 (which is very good).

Hope this helps.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

If enemies can hit you 3 times, not speed, but lack of blocking skill is your problem. With a heavy great sword, you shouldn't get outspammed by anyone.

Agility has never given swing speed bonus, even in native, but obviously you don't understand shit about game mechanics and have to babble about them.

I am pretty sure he was talking about single player which does have a .5%? attack speed bonus for 1 agility point but it's true that crpg doesn't have that.

I'm noticing a trend, here...

Go into Native singleplayer and give yourself 10000 Agility and see how fast you swing at 1 WPF. Then give yourself 699 WPF with 1 Agility. You should notice the difference.

I try to avoid saying things like this, because if I'm wrong, I sound like a total ass.

Sigh. Again I wish people read everything again. I was talking about normal Mount and Blade, which for me is the original one. That one has the speed bonus to weapon, at least it says so.
(click to show/hide)

If it was a mistyping, then I apologize, but since they haven't changed it (at least not in my version, 1.011) I guess this was a change for Warband and not the original MnB.

Really mature giving me - btw. Maybe I should stop helping new players after all and spend all my time arguing over small typos from the game and people who didn't see them changed

Relax people!

NP.  I try to help the new players, even with idiots like this who gets caught up in the details. (seriously, the typo was there for a LONG time, it didn't matter AT ALL about what he needed help with (since it isn't in cRPG as I said) and it really, REALLY is no big deal)

cRPG is a mod for Warband, not the original mount and blade.

Also, it makes a BIG difference when the typos and misinformation you're giving makes the new players believe in things that are not actually real.
