in all honesty, i think it would be better if battles could be passworded with a secret password known only to the battling factions.
PW could be communicated in battle-message.
Would be more flexible, and also automatically get rid of random spectators and people not reading the battle-messages.
You're F'ing with me, right? I'm assuming you're being sarcastic, but just because I've seen people do things that I considered too stupid for people to ever do, I'll go ahead and mention that there is a password given to battling factions communicated in the battle message.
Actually, after reading your first post in this thread, I was going to bring up why the hell admins never just password the server like that whole thing is set up for. Then kick all the specs. Hell, if you don't want to waste time kicking specs, you could just password the appropriate server a few minutes before the battle starts. If a faction hired a recorder, they could be given the pass. And one of the devs said that they actually implemented a system to where the password is taken off after the battle is over so you don't even have to unpassword it (assuming that system actually works).
