Best weapon to use with an Arbalest?

As the title states, just wondering. Im using a mace atm and im wondering if there is better. thanks

I think the Langes Messer in 2h mode gives you the most bang for your slots.

Nope as you have to pay repairs on it very frequebtly as the game sees it as a 1 hander with no 1 handed WPF.

Ya well if hes asking for advice i assume hes newish and therefore not rich.IMO the besr weapon to use with the Arbelest is the Spiked Mace.Fast, good dmg(30 blunt) and knockdown pnly problem is that its short.

i use langes messer and several one handed weapons...military hammer, or the cleavers..

another good weapon is the military sickle. it has 2h secondary mode, pierce demage , is pretty fast and cheap...

On my Xbow char I use Arbalest, one quiver of steel bolts and a Spiked mace, which is an awesome weapon once you get used to its lack of range.

Baggys' point is actually (for once) very valid.

And I agree that mace is the superior 1-slot weapon, blunt damage means you will almost never glance and knockdown is very usefull.

Yup, spiked mace all the way. Used it with 5 PS for a generation with 80 or so wpf.

It hurts tincans, is very fast and with high athletics, it's range isn't that much of a problem.

Can't remember the times the knockdown got me a free kill.

Uhh..the mace is superior to the spiked mace in every way, and it's one slot.

Spiked mace = 1h
Mace = 2h
