Actually, the majority of our weapons sucked, but I'll admit we had good armor and did a horrible job.

every merc victory has been the result of their abuse of the way strat battles work, if i were defending against them IRL i'd have just went back inside my fucking house because all they do is camp and wait for the defenders to get bored enough to rush them.

tbh at least at the battle today (merc v blackrose) if i were an admin i would have declared the mercs attack to be stalled or some shit because all they do is sit at their spawn and volley arrows

Nice fight, it was fun.  We couldn't have held it anyways with 2000 men to attack nearby plus 1500 man RuConquista army nearby, but we bled about 300K worth of equipment (all haubergeons, well over a 100 warhorses, arbalests, etc.)  Got mostly what we wanted, unless you get another 1000 troops adn 200,000 gold from "friends" to the west you are very short on gold.  Either way had a whole lot of fun and most of the people I played with too.  Good fight.

I'm glad we won 2 out of 4 (of course those were the two with at least some people with EU pings).

Nocti, what the hell do you mean by battle duration 36 min? That battle lasted over 2 and a half hours.

Anyway, second fight against HRE was truly EPIC. Mercs didn't have enough money to equip this army (except to provide plenty of arrows ), so we were naked, and with only couple of dozen of peaces of melee weapon in total at the very beginning. And we cost them 1000 tickets! And the funniest moment was when they timidly decided to camp as well, instead to attack naked and unarmed people! Really guys, do some diplomacy, try to get some strong allies, find some other way to play this game, cause sneaking and backstabbing just isn't enough (apparently).
