Yeah I'm more of a cartoonist. I haven't had enough experience with realism and life drawing to compete with all that. Or even try really since all my time has been going towards finding a job since I just moved to a new city. Very nice work, that artwork is very impressive.
I like the idea of using images to help with background, I've always had trouble with backgrounds. If you have time would you be willing to offer tips on colouring? I have a general idea that you layer on colour and then reduce your brush size to define things more, but I don't really know the details. I'm always trying to learn.
