Imagine entering those Akavir lands. No humans or elfs besides you. Adventuring into those lands. Would've been an epic story imo.

No i want Akavir!!! And Elsweyr! And fuck Text Based RPGs lol. I don't want to roleplay with words only!

Also ''Tsaesci'' ones who invaded Cyroderp and ones u saw ghosts using Katanas were the Half Snake Half Man race. So not every race uses katana! Tiger Race doesn't. Apes doesn't and Demons doesn't.

www.dosbox.com
You can run any older game ona  new computer using this dos emulator.

You can run any game on it and it works perfectly.  And you can change the emulator's represented computer speed for the game with f11 and f12 keys.

Just download all the games you get into c:\games\ (create folder)
then when you run dosbox you type:

mount h: c:\games\"folder_name_of_game"\
h:
"game_execute_file"  (so for example it might be arena.bat or arena.exe, just type "arena")

Tang Mo is about the only race i can imagine you playing with.

Actually if possible...i would've played as ''Kamal'' or Snow Hell demon race if you will lol. And then perhaps the Ka Po' Tun.

Dragons are akaviri race...

They're more servants and mounts to the Tsaesci and Ka Po' Tun from reading the books.

Quoted from book.

''After the Serpent people ate the men, they tried to eat the dragons. They managed to make the red dragons slaves, but the black dragons fled to Ka Po' Tun. A great battle was fought, and it left both the cats and the snakes weak, and the dragons extinct. Since then, the cats have always tried to become dragons.

Tosh Raka is the first and only so far to have accomplished this. Covered in orange and black scales, he is the largest dragon on Nirn, and it's believed that his eventual goal is to invade Tamriel
''

So perhaps they were a race but not anymore. And it sounds creepy that the biggest dragon on their planet (Nirn) resides in Akavir.

Would've been such a great story lol.

Just play the first one on dos emulator "Arena:Elder Scrolls"  - you go to every single province of the empire in that one and cana ctually go see Black Marsh and Morrowind lands as well.

Have you ever tried Arena or Daggerfall? They are a fuckload to play: the controls are extremely awkward, to say the least, not to mention the EMPTINESS that is the main filler in those games; they have quite a bit less to do and to see than in later games, and they have about ten times the area, if I remember correctly. So thanks but no thanks, those two gave me a headache while playing. It even took me several hours to get out of the first effing dungeon at the beginning of DF, though I had hundreds of playing hours from Morrowind and Oblivion :P .I rather stick with my Skyrim with maxed-out graphics for the time being.

Face it, we became graphics whores. Well, atleast I have. I have a hard time playing any old games with bad graphics, unless it's SUPER MARIO KART (snes) which was superfun.

Dwemer armor is epic now, especially with the helmet. The old styles of it jumped from cartoony anime robot to just blah. The level of detail on them now is awesome, they really give off this whole "lost civilization like our babylon" feel. That + waterfalls and rushing streams = amazing immersion when I get the kids to bed and the lights out. :)
