Yeah I'm kinda dissapointed at how lame dragon armour looks, but I'm still going to use it until I make myself a legendary daedric suit, because I don't really spend much time looking at myself lol.

So iv been playing Skyrim all day and after trying various classes and chars and seeing how dragons are too easy to kill i have decided to spice things up with some roleplay:
im playing Umbra the orc on Master dificulty with the limitation of: Greatswords and orkish armor only. So far im glad i did this since the gameplay itself has been 10X more epic. Almost every fight is a challenge and the sense of achievment is awesome. Thank god there is plenty of companions to choose from as the life expetency of them in my company is very very short.

My second dragon kill was the most epic fight ever  , complete adrenaline rush. Was doing some quest and fast traveled to Ansies house or something, bam a dragon appeares. It breathes ice on Me and Ansie and she gets pissed and starts hurling fireballs at him, she even summones a bear XD. She died sadly, but that wasnt my only help. A pack of wolves, a random orc bandit and some green nature thingy that shoots green beams (dryad???) atack the dragon during the fight (which lasted 15 min, not counting the many times i died ). Meanwhile im doing hit and run tactics, hiding in Ansies house and comming out when the dragon is down to smack it a few times and running back. When it was finaly over the killing blow animation was epic and i was like: YEEEEEAAA DOOOVAHKIINN!!

I highly recommen playing on Master difficulty

I dont know exactly, but I think you should just start with the front side and go in through the entrance, you know, without jumping in.Use those staffs to open the things and then it will probably work.


And again, did you open the Trap doors at the end of each mazeway?And fall down?(You need to open those with the staffs, too)

I play third person all the time, first person only when I gotta pick up lots of stuff so I can look at it properly

Good news everyone! Darn is back and he's already working on modifying (or rather trying to figure out) the UI together with quite a few other modders. Skyrim's UI seems to be made in flash, and while having a higher learning-curve than the old xml setup, it should also provide for more flexibility I think. Hopefully this means that we'll get a lot of good UI mods eventually

How come I can't freely move the camera while running forward!?! That's probably my biggest gripe with the game so far, I want to be lame and watch my character running through the environment but apparently I can only do that when I'm standing still.

Edit: Also, I'm playing on the 360 because I don't have a beast computer but I wish developers of console games would take those of us without an HD tv into consideration. As it is now part of the game is a "short-sighted simulator" as text is almost impossible to read sometimes and I literally have to put my face up against a sign to read what it says.

Lol....it's not cheating. You made a mistake by selling your staffs. So get them back and drop the gold you got for them. Problem solved. Or just buy them back.

Darn.I was busy for like 1 hour healing myself from being a damn vampire.Got to the last stage pretty fast and had almost no chance to suck someones Blood because I got attacked instantly.All the time.Well, sorted it out after a while and now Iam normal again

Oh and Mage college is keeeeeeewl.
