First you are a noob, let me write that first. If you still didn't figure out that you get no XP atm I cannot help you. I highly doubt if you were in the first Strat, some battles took 3-4 hours and if you were playing the first strategus you sound like you got Alzheimer's disease.
Second many people here approve that spawn was behind that invisible thing but Mercs did not abuse it. Why the fuck would I bother with siege shields then? go cry to devs about it. Seems like ATS guys are slightly deluded, don't sign up for the late night battles man its obviously not good for you.
You have no argument so you substitute strawman, nice. Let me proceed to put this post through a paper shredder, then burn it into tiny ashes.
You do get XP for strat battles, but chadz hasn't added it to the website yet. He has said (if I understand correctly) that we will get all that XP from past battles once he adds it to the website. Secondly, I'm referencing ginger's post about the XP. Let me quote:
"Allso now you get ALOT of XP so Join us in the fight against the untrustworthy BRD " Hmm I guess ginger is a noob, let me write that first ;)
Secondly, I've been in strat since day 1...stop trying to act superior. I've had my share of long battles--that doesn't make it any less boring or gay. And its not an excuse that "well everyone has long battles, thus our camping is legit tactic durr." Bandwagon fallacy right there ;) At least back then you got boatloads of XP from the kills. And many of those battles were long because the ticket amount was exorbitant, not because the attackers had no guts.
Mercs positioned many archers behind the invisible barrier, making them impossible to reach. I don't know if this was spontaneous or by design, but it happened. Several times a large group would go outside the barrier, then run back towards their untouchable archers when the defenders came to attack
And look, I'm not pissed off here or anything--on the contrary, I have no interest in either BRD or Mercs winning the battle. I was just there to merc, and have fun. Hiding for an hour when you know you are going to loose is not fun for anybody but the internet nerds who take this game super serious and rage when they lose an army. And not everyone did it--else BRD wouldn't have won the battle ;)
Lastly, it wasn't a late night battle for me--it was in the middle of the day, I'm from North America ;) Anyways gl hf to both factions, its nice to see some war going on early in the game.
