no there is a battle menu in strategus where the commander can transfer it without any movement or work on your part, u can pm the commanders about your pay, but it's ultimately up to them if they want to pay u or not, fx some mercs ask way to much and will never be taken seriously.
be sure to only ask whats fair (1 to 100 gold, higher if you're top scorer etc.).

How long does crafting things take?

I did few, and now Im doing some others, but have no idea how long will it take.

Its only "craft items" + "start" no timer or anything.

You have a chance for crafting items each hour depending on the "Craft Items [ *% efficiency ]" in the fief you are staying.

where can you look up a faction's roster? Besides the "battles" tab?

When does the unarmed change to lightly armed, armed, and heavily armed status?  My party has been unarmed.  I bought some axes and swords but the status is still unarmed.

This needs to be expanded or a guide written for players new to strategus so there's direction given when you start as to what you should do. I can get as far as step 4 in this FAQ before its meaningless to me.

the system  doesn't always update, try to move or transfer something to a teammate.  About the figures, not sure about the exact numbers, just that armor counts for more, of the weight . Just test it out and you'll get the hang of it ;-)

He wants to know how to view faction's rosters without clicking 18 times and going through back doors.  Is there any other place to view them besides going to http://c-rpg.net click on the battles tab, click a battle, click a faction, then at the top click on the faction tab, and then you can look at factions here, if you click on one it shows you their roster.

Is there an easier way to get to this information? I'm assuming not.  For as much updating they've done to the website (at the expense of working on strategus) they certainly haven't made it any easier to get information.

its totally random and is archievable from lvl 1-30.
u can get it in battle-, siege- and duel mode.
