Long Spiked Club from Horseback

The Long Spiked Club is currently a thrust weapon from horseback.  It should be swung.  Can you imagine only thrusting with a Morning Star from horseback?  That is how silly the club is from a horse.

From a "that makes sense" glance, I say yes... looking at the Game Balance implications I think they are wary of any swung weapon with that kind of length that does pierce damage, considering anything past I think 80-ish for a blunt weapon that could be used on a horse is considered unacceptable.

I figured that it was designed as a thrust weapon because of it's damage and length too.  It would be awesome if they could reduce it's damage or damage type so it can be swung, if balance is really an issue.  It just feels wrong from horseback.

Honestly, it shouldn't be usable on horseback at all (many polearms have the same problem). There should be a horseman's 1h mace instead.
