Choosing my build for this gen.

Help me out, guy/gals.

I currently have a MW German Greatsword.
I ran 24/15 build last gen and I felt it was too slow.

I was wondering if you can help me choose a build, and maybe give some personal opinions.

21/18
(click to show/hide)

Benefits of this compared to 18/21 is the ironflesh and powerstrike, but I am losing weaponmaster and athletics.

18/21
(click to show/hide)

And this has the benefit of more athletics and weaponmaster. Less ironflesh and powerstrike.

Help me out.

Thanks,
Espo

up until 18/18, play a little and then ask yourself if your too slow or to weak.

If you wan't to dedicate yourself into 1 weapon, 21/18 could be better
The world is split in two categorie.
The one digging, and the one with the loaded crossbow.

But never forget that the one digging, got a big shovel.

I'm also a fan of 21/18. You're fast enough, especially if you're wearing lighter armor. I'd rather have the slight damage increase over the slight speed increase also.

Losing weaponmaster is not an issue if you're not a hybrid. 140wps is more than enough.

If your new to the game (first or second gen) Agility builds can help you better recover from timing errors and can be very handy if your not that strong a manual blocking because you can use footwork to dodge swings.

One question I have to ask, is the the "too slow" referring to weapon speed or, what it probably is, movement speed from athletics? If it is the latter, I have some interesting stuff for you espo.

You retire fairly often, right?
Break the traditional mould and do something interesting one of your generations, like this:
(click to show/hide)

It is funny, you'll be fast and hit kinda hard. Although, no iron flesh isn't the best thing ever.
imo go this if you want effectiveness
(click to show/hide)
You don't need WM on a non hybrid, in all honesty.

Also, I have declared myself #1 NA hybrid thrower
Formerly known as Marathon.
As an NA admin, I am the most laid back and concerned with the ~fun of the game~ above all other factors. I've also been super inactive since Summer 2012. University takes most of my time, but I still find some time to play when i can.
