i lived near dubrovnik when war started and i know that nothing's black or white. everything's grey. some people did awful things. some did good deeds and risked their lives. some did both. and some did nothing.
some powers decided that that war had to have no winner. when we accepted "hague" to me it was clear that aggressor and defender are going to be in equilibrium.
for europe this will always be a civil war with no winner.
