How to know what polearm can be used 1handed?

I would like to know how you can tell what polearm weapon can be used in 1h.

Also if using one of those spear 1 handed with a shield does it use your 1h wpf or polearm wpf?

You mean pole/shield combo? Still polearm.

Pretty much war spear or red tassel spear if you want pure pole/shield.

all forks, staffs, spears (except long spear), lances, scythes and awlpike (not long) can be used with shield
