An idea for a program.

I have an idea for a program, but I don't have skills to realise it.

I'm one of the players who like to look good ;)
I mean, armor should be good, but in my meaning should looks good too.

Maybe there is a way to make a program, where you can taste how would your character looks like with armor what You want to buy?
Sometimes I look for some nice helmet, or boots, something looks good, but when I buy it and test it's not what I wanted.

So... Maybe somebody have skills in this type of job and have some free time ; )

I know what you mean. In all the mess of battle it isn't easy to get a moment to see if you look good or not. lol like it matters.

But I recall FFXI had a similar program where you could set your model and choose various armor types (the different graphics for every variety) in order to tell how you looked in a particular combination. It isn't the same use as your suggestion, but a program like that would help people know what sort of clothing looks proper on them. The FFXI program only showed the models combined with whatever armor/clothing selections you made... it did not show any sort of in-game item stats etc. So the program in question can be a vanilla M&B utility more then specific to cRPG.

And yes, I can't program either.  :)

when you are buying equipment on webpage, mouseover the items, you can use the magnifine glass to zoom in and see more detail to the model

It's what I tried to do at beginning, assemble items together.

The possible way is to use OpenBRF.

See : http://imageshack.us/g/546/openbrf.png/ (It was just a test)

(click to show/hide)

It would be possible to make pictures layers, but it's very long to align all items together and OpenBRF automatically resizes, the ratio isn't respected.

So I abandoned this idea.

The second idea would be, like for the Calradia's Maps Explorer, hosting the large original pictures.

But it weighs 284 MB when the 200×200 pictures are only 37 MB, It requires a significant bandwidth.

(click to show/hide)

Or else to develop an in game item's viewer.

I tried OpenBRF, but I only had two items next to each other.

How the hell did you do these?

You have to right clic on an item and clic on "Roto-translate-rescale" and move in Translation one item.

This is how I managed to assemble the rolling tower (5 items). :D

u sir is cool.
In this community,if you cheat, which is the ultimate crime to do in a game, you can buy a second cd key and everything is fine, but if you troll you get a permaban and be in danger for a second one, fair isn`t it?
