Bought a Tatar Bow for heirlooming

So I'm going to heirloom this Tatar Bow in a bit, but seems that the game disagrees. In the retire menu it doesn't show this item.

What's wrong?

I'm retiring from melee to archer. Is heirlooming arrows any smart then?

Arrows are an extremely worthwhile heirloom, providing damage and a larger quantity of arrows. Although the differences aren't extreme, it is certainly useful to have the heirloomed arrows.
