You will keep all of your gold and gear. It will be transferred to the new player you retire to.

Yeah, that's my issue as well.  I want to get the xp multiplier, but I have to get to 31 first, which will take forever without the xp multiplier...

Retiring for the xp bonus makes no sense. It's only x1.1. It will still take forever. At gen11, it will still take half as long as now.

Nice bro; kinda funny that by the time that character is 30 again that's how long it would take to hit 31  :lol:  I'm currently on that grind... 5.5 mil XP atm... ugh

Did you retire to fix or change your character? 'Cause I'm grinding to 31 in order to get the bonuses since I'm gen 2 and I want more heirloom modifiers on my wep. Gen 2 doesn't really make fuck all of a difference though... lol wish I was gen 5+ pre-patch like some people... get massive XP.
