Full name change

I completely changed the name of a charater about 12 hours ago (after retirement) and although it has created the new name and xfered all the equipment to the new name on Crpg.net there is no charater ingame under that name in M&B.  The old name is still there but with reset begginer equipment. 

At the time I checked settings afterwards to see if it was saying the name change was pending and it wasn't.  I could never find any indepth up to date guides explaining this process but assumed it was because it was easy.  I don't want to wait a long time if I have done something wrong so does anyone know if this is a normal thing that happens when you change your name?

Oh yes, and I made sure there were no other chars with that name already.

Create a new profile in m&b with the new name and you should be good to go. Unless I'm missing something critical here.

I think I read somewhere that creating a new profile should not be done now.  Anyone?

Creating a new profile or not does not matter in this case.

If there's a name change whatsoever, you need to have corresponding character names that matches the change in order to connect to the right character on the database.

Simply do:
1. Edit the character's profile, change the name into the new name, press 'Done'
2. Create New Character, type in the 'changed name' for the new character, do whatever adjustment you wish to make, faces, banners, then just log in to a server.
