I guess that is a good thing.

I was only there as a newbie to participate in strategus for 3 weeks, but i heard people making a huge alliance, like the VN in real life. Other people said it got too boring with so many alliances.

Maybe now there will be more action and wars?

Maybe, but if everyone allies with their neighbors, they won't be able to expand very much and stagnate, especially with all the new clans out for blood.
