its fun as poler and irritates a few. but in fact you have only disadvantage compared to normal pole or normal 2h.

The secondary mode that gives a Two-Handed weapon one-handed mode is useful. I based my build on 2H swords with 1H mode, in fact.

well you can stop horses also, or if you like swords and if you are a polearm user

It will be useful once it will be impossible to swing zweihanders through the walls. Right now its rather hilarious when I see the guy whos sticking to a wall and making a swing from the wall-side - I'm assuming his weapon will be stuck in the wall - and magically the lightsaber cuts through it and then through me.

actually half swording doesnt seem to stop horses, or at least not chargers

its funny because half swording is really the only way that armor could be peirced in real life. Instead we have the lulzslash and lulzstab, which is more fun i guess

Halfswording stab is the only way do do damage with a 2h in a stabbing motion (at least for the loswords), the current lolstab is IRL so predictable, slow to perform, and rather suicide with the lolswords we have, halfswording is usefull for my polearm character when he wasn't strong enough to use his heirloom, just pick up a 2h and start oneshotting peeps with facestabs, I wonder why that never happens with real polearms though...
