Ah, IL2, a nice game.

Too bad I can hardly even take off in that game, let alone dogfighting.

I guess that's what I get for playing with a keyboard though.

A good video yes, but I believe you use waste too much speed on following the targets, with a plane that has sufficent  firepower you could often just position your plane so that it goes infront of you like this:   I= you <-= enemy plane \= you

With that firepower all you need is a 0,5sec burst on the enemy plane, if you get that right, you take down the plane and get out of the turn with a shit-load of usable speed, but in the other case (\) you waste speed on alot of turning leaving you weak for some time after the attack.

109 Firepower is pretty basic. Mg 151/20 , its a G2. No 30mm xD.

We had the upperhand in this battle, my wingman is a crackshot.

Getting low against those is risky but hell, it was fun.
Btw, did u see any high opponents? I didn´t, so why not? I never felt a real thread during that battle.

I wouldn´t have done all this in a Fw190, so I can´t say ur comment isnt valid, but,
it sounds like you want to teach me basics..xD xD

Yeah when I played the game many people attacked my teammates and got out of the fight with barely any speed and I could saw them down with a very slow plane, I just want to remind the new players that every single bit of speed is important yeah you have a point, without the 30mm this is a 50/50 chance to actually down the plane with that kind of pass.
Apparently you played against some noobs without too much coordination , yknow that shit hits the fan when you chase a plane and suddenly someone drops on you from above

So basiclly there is no need for maternal feelings from a selfcrowned oldschooler here, believe me...xD

The chance is way lower than you state it btw...don´t know when u played the game the last time, but the gunnery respectively the damagemodel got changed. . .(flying a 109 with 20mm atleast)

Truth be told I didnt touch the game for like two years    (joystick died, when another decent ww2 plane game comes out ill buy another one)

FS? Are you FS Nordic member? I was a founding member. I miss simming days. I gots me a proper track-ir and stuff and then my favourite joystick brakes and cant find it anywhere. Bought shitty X45 to replace that and haven't been simming after that. I wasn't very good with it but I loved it. Nostalgia
