You can put all the faces you want gjnus, but you know that with the new system, a 1h has the greaters chances to win in a 1h/horsie vs polearm/horsie. And that is plain silly.

Still waiting for DaveUKR to GTX, the tradition must continue.

If I remember it was apparently him who said that bows shouldn't be able to shoot further than xbows (not sure if that's true, but if it is, then he wouldn't rage quit over getting his own way!)

But yes, I do feel that this patch has... worsenedthe game again, but then I am an archer, I just sit there and take the nerfs that get thrown at me. I don't believe that increasing accuracy and reducing the arrow speed increased the amount of skill to hit targets, moving the reticle a little bit higher and the direction the enemy is running for less damage, doesn't make sense to me since it would take the same amount of skill to judge how long the arrow will take to land on the target before hand...

On a side note, I think I am going to take some time out from the mod too, it's beginning to bug me.

I'm currently semi-retiring my archer and focusing on my cheesy arbalest sniper. GL HF.

Nothing new here. Anytime we release a patch a few people threaten to quit, and the rest rages how the old patch was better.

Let's take a look back.

When we released last patch (the one people currently consider better), everyone cried how awful it is, compared to the previous version.

Same for the version before. And the one before. And the one before.

Also, people that really want to leave ususally don't post a goodbye message - they just leave. Everything else is just a cry for help :)

chadz is smart i told ya....dam...my plan failed.

This thread makes me think about a post of a guy from the team who made battlefield heroes. He explained stuff about why they changed the game into pay to win, and how the forum reacted. He showed polls, actual profits/loss information and playerbase data. Can't remember clearly, but he said 80% of the forum users had the picture "ea failed" and all said they would leave. I guess this is a little equal to cRPG.

I'll try to find a link for it, it was really interesting.

EDIT: Found it. http://www.slideshare.net/bcousins/paying-to-win

EDIT2: If you want a TL;DR of the data, go to
