I liked the balance of the previous version,  except throwing beeing under powered. u guys agree?

ya,  although a lot of whine was going on,  classes were nicely fine tuned in the context of battle if a fair distribution was achieved in both teams

I liked everything but cav (required a few tweaks) and Throwing (needed a buff) for the old game.

New game? I... I still need to get used to this, but I despise that Bows are worthless at long distance shooting and are 25mm depleted uranium automatic railguns for short range giving a massive middle finger to any melee that "dares" try to get near me without a shield...

My pew pew was nerfed too hard for range, but buffed too much for close shooting is what I am saying... I should not be wandering around with an automatic shotgun from hell... It should be a sniper rifle...
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

I mostly agree though I think cav, especially lancers needed a rebalancing like this.  Archers didnt need a buff and a little more ammo for throwers but not back to 1 slot huscarl, 1 slot throwing lances (really?, my longbow/katana/practice longsword are all smaller than a throwing lance), those were some of the lamest people on the battlefield throwing a 1-2 shot kill device and then turtling up, they don't need a come back.

I like everything, except lancers and archers. Lancers need buff, archers need small damage nerf.

I like lancers now, in the past couching was way too easy for its reward.

i thought mostly everything was bal in the last patch

 Cav did well
2-h did well
pole did well (bec need some bal issue)
archers were use full.
shields were balanced
x-bows were ok(needed some WPF adjustments)

Only throwing was useless.

Now how i see
archer>thrower>x-bow>pole>2-h>sheild>cav

Add to that the upkeep cost increase and it's clear.

Seems like the dev team keeps nerfing something and buffing everything else breaking the freaking game every item bal patch

I agree with the analogy of Tears...

Man I hit hard! I'm not going to whine about it at all since i've got some of the best rounds I ever had but I must say that I feel sorry for the triple heirloomed tincans that I 3-4 shot in the chest..

I had 3-4 shot kills on tincans a lot but at least it was headshots!

Archers duels was a real pain for me b4 patch, now I dont even bother trying to kill the other ranged if he focus on me.

only real changes needed were:

fix to cav, i'd have tried a 20% speed decrease every time you hit someone from horse, 30% for a couch, 40% if you hit someone
slow the bec down
crossbows really really bad without wpf (i mean, shotgun-like accuracy)
change polestun somehow
change stabs
decrease in archery speed across the board
