I will eat my words if Trump can actually take some decisive action about North Korea. His whole platform was about not being afraid to break a few eggs, but so far the response to North Korea has been everything this forum likes to meme about the West's response to an islamist attack:
- Condemn north
- Talk about the same sanctions that are already in place
- Wait for next missile test
With one key difference - there is a time constraint here. At the point where North Korea has multiple armed missiles able to consistently reach the US, it will be too late to take preemptive action against them.
Surely the one good thing about having a President like Trump, is that you'd think he wouldn't pussy-foot around a potential military threat to the US like this. But so far he has done nothing special in the face of this threat that you couldnt imagine any of his predecessors doing. THAAD was a nice gesture but only seems to have provoked matters and at this rate wont even be operational before North Korea has tested everything it needs, it's also not been proven to work in practice. He has until North Korea completes their ICBM project to prove he's not an Obama-clone with a loud mouth.
Or so you think, buddy. If only you had access to the same high level sources as me your mind would be blown. What you're seeing is the set up, the pieces are being moved into place, and it'll be a check mate after 1 move when the game begins...
