So gonna necro this one...

Steam has Two Worlds 2 on sale for €4.99... and I am torn if it's actually any good.

I've read comments and reviews and those are really mixed towards the game. Reviews are overall rather positive but a lot of people say the voice acting is on the dark side and controls are sluggish and pretty bad.

So, anyone played it and wants to gimme a hint? I don't just wanna buy it cuz it's cheap and then have it turning out as another "Not gonna touch this again!"-game in my Steam library...
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

I played it for about 10 hours. It's alright.

It's main merit is in its magic system that's fairly innovative, but other than that the game is pretty average. If cheap, you can try it.

If it's just average then I won't get it. There is already way too much "average" on my Steam account...

I also dropped it after a few hours. Not sure why, though, didn't really grasp me I guess.

I played it for a bit. Got maybe half way but it wasn't unique enough in any real way to keep me interested.

It's really fucking bad dude. Storyline is hilariously cheesey/cliche/shitty writing, combat is like a half-assed version of Witcher 2, etc. I played like half an hour of it and just couldn't stand it. If the story was compelling I would have played through it but it was probably its worst aspect.

Most of us are currently living off relatives, friends, parttime-jobs or savings, to be able to work as much and cheaply as possible.
