Sorry if I post this in general discussions but i'm getting real tired of it.

It's been months already now; every day, after 5:30 - 6:00 pm (gmt +1) my ping starts to get much higher; first hour is around 90, then it increases till 140 for like 3 or 4 hours, and then again it starts to get back to normality; I'd like to add that on HRE server (a not official server) it always remains around 40, on official servers, when it's good, it stays around 50-55. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one having this problem (got confirms from a couple of italian friends), can't really tell when it started honestly, but i was wondering who else is dealing with this and for how long.
I also would like to add that if I use a german VPN during the 4 hours gap my ping gets even lower then usual.

I had exactly the same problem for a while, though in my case it was only a short period of time, but yesterday I got back my old, good ping. Looks like its your provider fault, at least that's what I've heard

Exactly the same, at prime time I had 130+ on official servers and 40 ping on HRE.

yes men call your provider ... i had 10 Mb and got same problem 70-90-140 ping  ... this week i bought 100 Mb and my ping is always 30-35 FUCK YEAH xD

It's your shitty ISP selling more service than their local node can handle.  My godawful shitty worthless ISP does the same thing.  My internet starts to go to hell at about the same time that I get home each day.  It gets worse and worse as people in the neighborhood start using YouTube/NetFlix until it just becomes impossible to do anything ping-dependent.  Nothing you can do about it really besides switching ISPs...if you even have that option...I don't...gg TimeWarner local monopoly.

Some problems with ping too... Normal is around 45-50 now for 2 months 60-80 :/

I had 130 ping for 2-3 days at 18:00-22:00 and after that my ping went down to 25, was never this low before !

Same problem and if it wants to, the ping even raises to 800+ randomly.

Routing issues between our ISPs and server host for cRPG... but it's funny that HRE_DTV works fine for everyone. Personally, if not for cRPG then for Melee I would prefer different server host because I and many other players have a hard time changing our ISP, it's easier to change server host. Next time pick some bavarian or austrian host, please...

Just recently connected to forums, site and pretty much everything. Dropped out of strat battle because of this... hopefully this will be end to it.
