I just find bows were messed up.
But my question was (sorry for the misunderstanding), say if you had 5 PD and the short bow and horn bow were the same damage, will I do the same amount of damage with both even though one requires 4 more PD?
Afaik, yes. A 25 dmg bow with 1 PD req and a 25 dmg bow with 5 PD req will do exactly the same damage at 5 PD if I am not overlooking something here. If you are implying that the shortbows is now some sort "pocket hornbow" for the 1/10 of the price, I have to agree to some extent, although the accuracy difference ( was hotfixed from 98 to 96 ) coupled with the other stats being inferior all in all really gives the hornbow the edge. I have to say though that I was quite surprised myself when I saw how viable the shortbow got compared to its old stats but its not like its any differrent with low tier melee weapons.
