Yeah, info tab on the side should have the 'current conditions' which should affect visibility, movement speed and maybe even upkeep.
Certain areas of the map should have different forms of weather, have a rolling seasonal change every months from summer, autumn, winter, spring etc. which brings prevelant weather types (wet/cold/hot/mild).
Example: Snowy lands have high weather effects during the winter months, small effects in spring/autumn and no effect in winter.
Deserts have high weather effects in the winter and summer, but no effect in spring/autumn
Would add a greater strategis element to the game, deciding when to attack certain enemies in certain parts of the map. Wether to attack immedieately or delay in the hopes of better weather etc.
