So Renaissance Equipment is a thing now...

Well, it only makes sense. There are Onehanders, Twohanders, Shields, and now the new polearms. We also have one type of hand armor and now three types of helmets.
There's only one thing that's missing: Body Armor! One type of armor (in two colorings) is a bit few... especially considering that it's heavier than what most people are using. I've been seeing squashbucklers with side-sword, buckler, and plate armor! So, please, can we get some more (and lighter) renaissance style armor?

That coraza plata would be absolutely fantastic. Exactly what I've been looking for a long time. Unfortunately I don't think Zimke is looking to share those models he's making for the AoC2.

In that thread there are some great looking armors that look very similar to Transitional but just different versions of it, those would be cool to have.

From reading through the link, I liked these (spoilers below). With some tweaks, I can see something like the newest patch with eastern arms happening.

Seemingly fitting to the armour classes we have of light/medium/medium heavy/and heavy

Are there any ingame pictures with high graphic qualitity? They dont all look convincingly for me, tho they're alright.

The the jack of plates, the Caballero, the Jinete and the Escopetero armors are all really beautiful, would love to see them in the mod.
