Blocking with trowing weps

I was thinking, why cant we block with trowing weps if we dont have them in melee mode?

So i would say allow blocking of trowing weapons while they are in trowing mode.

I honestly think this would be quite OP, just block block and then insta hammer to the face

Its already possible with shield, and that proves trowing is way to slow to counter melee

You cant block a hit and then trow before the next hit lands.

I dont think we have to be afraid of trowing to become OP. The only class thats less played then trower is the mounted trower

maybe throwing isnt played very much (eventhough many people have darts to harass enemies) but it makes people whine real hard!

If you can block with a stick, you should be able to block with a long dagger. Thus, also with darts/war darts/throwing knives/throwing daggers.

There is a bloom of throwers in NA as of recent two months, lots of throwers and other ranged.

I dunno, I don't think this would imbalance it since you already can't throw back even with a buckler.
But they won't do it.

Im just talkign about the weapons you can already block with in melee mode. (think axes/ javelins)

Those where the blocking animation is already present.

I approve, but, tbh pressing X is like 99.9% instant for throwing weapons, when I'm dehorsed my main tactic is blocking and (swinging a tiny bit) then pressing X and throwing, then pressing X and blocking, but it will only be quick enough to work if you do it while also making a short distance between your opponent.

What would happen to the ranged interrupt when someone is near you? Would it cause you to drop your block because melee is facehugging you?

Or does it get removed for these items?

No, bad suggestion.

Also, throwing, not trowing. That's something entirely different.

Just switch to melee mode when an enemy gets too close. As it is now anyway if they just facehug you with an attack prepped with you're in throwing mode it staggers you, so blocking wouldn't really help.

Simply because when you left click during ranged mode of throwing weapon it makes you ready to fire. And right click is used to disable the firing.

In melee fighting you left click to ready you attack, you right click to cancel it... You ready your trow, you click block to cancel it
