I don't think we should judge mechanics till we've an expert opinion on what the WSE could do with forward-curved weapons.  As for aesthetics and suitability I like the concept.

There's lots of possible reasons.  That's why I suggested that this conversation be put to one side till an actual expert comments.

If this is supposed to be a falcata: remember, the BACKside of the sword describes a SINGLE arc, it does not arc back on itself towards the point. The FRONT of the blade describes 2 arcs.
