My first few matches of rageball I tried to even teams a little a couple times, but the thing is you're reluctant to switch to the 'losing team' while you have a multiplier/win streak going...

This is true for me as well. I have switched to the outnumbered team a few times but a few times I was selfish and didn't switch. Not proud of it but the x5 was too good. Like a previous poster mentioned.. the only way to get teams balanced is to have someone or multiple people switch manually.
