Here's something weird:

Notice how the battle fork is just 1 speed slower, is 12 points longer, deals the same thrust damage and has 21 pierce damage on the swing compared to 16 blunt swing on the double sided lance. It also has 1 less requirement and both of them have no penalty when used with a shield.
Either the Battle Fork (too ugly, I would never use it) is too cheap or the double sided lance is far too expensive.
IMO, the double sided lance should be between the battle fork and this:
