+1 but I imagine the problem is that the engine doesn't support changing your weapon's appearance on the fly.  They don't have a way to make it look pointy-side-out when you switch modes.

What they COULD do, though, is implement an axe with a point on the end of it, which you could then pierce with.  I think the polearm axes tend to allow this.
Crush your enemies; see them driven before you; hear the lamentations of their women.

This is already in game. And YES, the model does reverse, making it easy to tell when you are in secondary mode.

And it was done, and all had much fun, woo. Love in my broad head pick of sheild smashing doom.

I would however love and Iron Broad Head Pick Backed War Axe of Smiting!

Stats/accoutrement:

Wieght: 3
Diff: 18
Speed: 94
Length: 84
Thrust: Over 9000
Swing: 38c
            27p

It would be the slowest hardest hitting 1h. More importantly it would be all shiny.

Just look at the broad one handed battle axe... thats exactly what you are wanting...
It's not always about winning. It's about spinning.

As far as I know that is exactly how the Bec de Corbin works now.

Usually pierce and when you press x you get blunt.
So why shouldn't it be possible with axes as well?

But if we do this I suggest that it is possible to switch between 2 quivers of different arrows :O

I would like to take one stack of bodkins and one stack of tatar and then just switch around for light or heavy armoured targets
