Problem with couched lance is that it grants free kills to already lame OP cavalry, all they have to do is to rush to group of people fighting and voila, free kill...

Well things are tough all over then aren't they. You don't take athletics, you can't easily dodge a couched lance. Trade off, like someone said before.

Get some athletics, problem solved. I'm an archer with no ps, but considering that the trade off is me having 8 pd 7 wm 5 athl I think it is ok.

Stop blaming problems of your build on game balance.

Fuck that! I'm on a horse and there is no way for me to attack an aware pikeman with my melee only build! It clearly is because pikes are imba and shouldn't be able to attack horses! Also why come people shoot me when I'm on my no shield 2h? That's just BS too! And it should be banable to kill an archer in melee since they don't have as much melee skills as the others so it's really unfair for them!

A better solution is to have ath, dodge and shoot him in the back when he poses 0 threat.
