Weapon proficiency is supposed to affect damage, attack speed, and accuracy, but I haven't really been able to find a thread explaining how or any formulas. Every time I search, it's always about the penalty from armor.
Hell, I'm not even 100% sure that wpf actually affects damage cause I can't find a real noticeable difference. And if it does, does it do so for every kind of weapon or just for melee? Also, does it add a certain percentage per wpf (ex: 0.05% more damage per wpf point) or by actual damage (ex: 0.02 damage per wpf point)?
When it comes to speed, I'm not even sure what the number on the weapon itself means. Is that the percentage of how fast it is compared to a punch? How many attacks can you do in a certain time frame? And does wpf affect attack speed by percentage of the listed speed (ex: 10% faster with 100 wpf) or by adding speed points (ex: 1 more speed per 50 wpf)?
I'm also confused about what the numbers in accuracy mean. Since even a masterwork Arbalest is still only 99 in accuracy, it could be percentage. But that would imply you could get 100% accuracy as long as you can get one more percentage with wpf. I'm also wondering if wpf increases accuracy on a percentage basis or by adding straight accuracy points. And does wpf also increase accuracy of power throw weapons?
Thanks in advance for any clarification
