I'd go with Acer, they make high-quality laptops. Especially the GPUs are often a notch up from the similar priced models of other manufacturers, and this is a thing that most gamers will appreciate.

People talk a lot of the heat problems in Acers, but it's mostly due to Acers being very mainstream, and the average user doesn't care much of the air intake possibilities of the laptop, so the computer can end up being used in a sofa or something where it doesn't get any input air, thus overheating. Keep it on solid surface and it should work fine.

If you want even better, get Alienware, it's well worth the money. They've got a long history of making laptops for gamers, and they're still the best in business. Plus, they're stylish, the LEDs and lights really make a nice impression.

If you didn't understand that I'm trolling, you're free to buy these brands. Both are shit.

I suggest you the new Asus for gamers, they are a bit expensive but with nice config. Also the new ones have big ventilo on the rear, seems that overheating as been solved!

I have a MSI GT663 (http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GT663.html) and it costed me around 1000 euros.

The one on the link sports the i7 processor but mine has the i5.

All the games i play has worked just fine, if the temp starts going up i have easy access to increase fan speed.
It has decent speakers, not anything like proper speakers but it's better then standard laptop speakers.

It's quite heavy, 3.5kg and kinda noisy. But overall a nice laptop.

I can recommend it.

I think once you can get past the brand flamewars the single most important thing is to make sure you have a dedicated graphics card and not the normal crappy shared on board card.

if its still been possible to give +1 to awesomebar i would have given u 1 my friend!
Acer is probably the best laptops with the best quality! Atm im playing on a acer laptop, its 2 years now, no problems at all( Even when i spilled some beer on it :() The only thing i miss with the acer is the ram and the stuff inside it, theyre not putting too much inside theyre computers, i think they are aiming for better quality than better (I CANT REMEMBER WHAT THE HELL THE WORD IS, PLEASE TELL ME IF U KNOW IT).

If i have been u searching for a gaming laptop with a good Cpu, ram and a good harddrive i would stick with the Asus nowadays tho!
Reason: They are cheap, (And the word i forgot is supposed to be here aswell).

Acer put out such bad quality products they had to retreat out of North America for about 10 years and peddle their junk in Asia.  They have horrible quality products.
