It's easy to buy another cd-key and just do the skip the fun thing to try new builds. So why the respec should make you lose half of your xp?
I suggest to lower the xp loss, a 20% would be more fair and it would be interesting to be really able to test new builds even those who haven't a shitload of cd-keys

That is frowned upon and might be against the rules soon if it isn't already.

So why the respec should make you lose half of your xp?

Because it works just like the old respec except you can do it at any level now, and we want to keep people retiring/respeccing/not max level forever because that leads to the old crpg where every player ends up in their 'endgame' set of gear and then slowly loses interest as there is no further progression.

I suggest to lower the xp loss, a 20% would be more fair and it would be interesting to be really able to test new builds even those who haven't a shitload of cd-keys.

I disagree with your suggestion for the reasons given.
Maybe you are not bad, but you are a boring person. Well, that's the end of the matter.

I don't see anything wrong with buying a new cd-key to try out builds with STF. At least if you don't participate in Strategus with the STF account.

So we might aswell allow one STF character per game key.

Also, increasing the starting gold would be cool. 10k is really not enough to try out builds at level 30. In the end you still have to grind the money x).

The game costs less than $10 during a steam sale, I know some people that have 7 cd-keys.  This is going to be a problem for strategus.  But putting steep penalties on re-specing will only give people more incentive to have multiple keys.
