First of all: I don't do this to give you an opportunity to
attack my reasoning, but to hand my view on plate, to let you
see, how an average gamer Joe, like me sees the situation.
Everything from the next blank line is solely my own opinion.
Okay, enough of explaining myself
About me:
I like cRPG but I'm definitely not a fanboy.
I did not donate once.
I did not feel responsible for the success of the mod.
My thoughts:
I feel that developers are not really interested in their playerbase's opinions, suggestions.
Don't get me wrong, they were listening, but it would be awesome, if someone came up
with an idea, then the developers would deep hartedly accept that at least one of
their players is missing something, so the topic must be examined.
I'm definitely missing this.
I am missing a feature in the game,
that could make it better, but I'm slowly accepting that it will never become reality,
and it is a disappointment.
(Yes, I know it is strange, but it is disappointing even if I did not donate!
If I felt that my word counts, then I would support the game with a higher chance.
Now I feel I have to repeat myself to avoid confrontations: I'm not writing down
my excuses, I'm telling you honestly how I think, so you can use it for your own interest).
One of the big void I can not understand why is not implemented (yet) is:
>> ingame voice chat <<: to actually talk in the following ways, with different buttons:
+ to guys wearing my banner
+ to guys in my team
+ to guys on the server
Not in an external application, like TeamSpeak. Yes, we were using that with GK, too.
Ingame voice chat would give spirit to the game.. you could yell at people ;p
Can you imagine how different would be for a newbie, when he joins the game, that he could
hear actually people talking ? Just think about your other games, where there is a community.
