First of all you should know how AI mesh tools work before you start creating a dtv map. Look at this guide for more info on that: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,61126.0.html

And some tips:
- Spawn point for players is 80
- Spawn point for bots is 81-84
- Make sure the bots can reach all places that the players can reach
- Make sure that there are no rooms with only one entrance, or two tiny ones.

What does DTV stand for?

Defend the Village.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

Yeah the big thing with this is placing AI meshes correctly so bots can reach all places players can

Ok, next question:

What game mode would I choose to test if it works properly? Just battle? I dont know know what conquest is...

I just dont want to upload a map that I think is perfect and find out that the fact is it isnt and people have to deal with it for a week, until the server updates/restarts.

One way I have tested my map so far is to basically spawn lots of bots in battle mode, sometimes all bots vs me, other times bots vs bots. Move the spawn points around so you test all parts of the map for errors.

Other observations I have made while making my map:
- AI mesh will take a long time to create properly, especially if you plant lots trees and other props around the map.
- AI Barriers can be useful to prevent AI from getting stuck, be careful not to create spots that players can exploit this though
- Don't start adding AI mesh before you are sure that you will not modify the terrain any more.
