I know what you mean when I'm sat in the basement trying to read about stuff that matters like mount and blade it hurts my eyes and then my mom thinks im doing drugs because my pupils are big.

I think it's bright enough, besides, there's mods to change it anyway. Each person can make it look the way they want without effecting anyone else.
