I like ladders. Yes, there are some issues. But nothing that can't be fixed.
Ladderpulting hardly ever happens after the ladder change. Just tell people to watch it when they deploy a ladder.
If you know people will be camping a roof, bring a ladder yourself and talk to your team to make a plan and assault that roof. Great fun and those roofcampers are often easy kills. It's easiest to carry a ladder while mounted, because then it won't slow you down so much. But even on foot, bringing one ladder doesn't slow you down that much and you'll need to stick with your assault squad anyway, so moving slowly might be a good idea.
Skyladder leechers? Never heard of that. I've seen a few skyladders though. Those can probably be fixed by changing the ladder code a bit.
The thing is, if you remove ladders from battle altogether, the maps become static. That would be a shame. I like how every round is different depending on where the roofcampers deploy their ladders.
