to be honest the only reason someone would leave because of a wipe is if they armor/str crutch and will get shit upon because they lack player skill.

Right, but with it starting over, people who tried the game 6 months, or a year, or 1.5 years after it was released and thought "this is going to be too much work to get to the same playing field as these other players, so I'm not going to start".  If they start over, it would be an easy draw for those people to come back and be on the same playing field as everyone else. 

How about we have 2 selectable modes: noob and vet mode. Noob mode grants way more EASY everything while vet mode grants exclusive/unique things/gear only attainable through long time playing. This way the crybabies can have things easy and no effort like they want it and people who actually care to put in effort will still be rewarded.

How is this different from other RPG style games? As long as there's an RPG element, someone will always be ahead.

I literally do fall asleep after three exchanges if it's not someone I recognize and just click the left mouse button hoping that they're going to feint or hold or something.
