400kb is not big, we need more download speed.

It is not big at all, but the download speed of maps on cRPG servers is abysmal

Maybe they should publish the new maps somewhere else, and start the download in the cRPG launcher already. Of course, this would only work for the official servers.

Just lost a multiplier myself, along with half the team I was playing with on the previous map. 75 players, only 30 made it in time to play due to a 500k map download. (and why are these map files bloated anyhow?)

It's just dumb how hard of a choke we have on map downloads. Source games (as an example) can have map sizes at upwards of 50MBs and even using just the "through server" download is faster than ~15kbs we get now. Not to mention, since most crpg servers have to be verified through the modmaker's stuff anyway, we should have a fast download redirect. Calling a 500kb file bloated is thinking in the wrong direction.

This is a rather annoying problem, I rather dislike loosing my multiplier just like the rest of the people here. A separate download where we could grab all the maps for the severs would be great.

Please revert the multiplier reset.

You "fixed" one problem (people waiting until the 2nd round to join when banner balance kicks in) and created more.  Now people either have to suicide rush the enemy (which hurts their team) or just hide somewhere if they go AFK, both are obvious cases of leeching.  Before they could do the respectful thing and go spectator and come back and still have their multiplier (assuming their team won the round they went spec). 

I honestly don't think that many people waited for the banner balance on 2nd round, so your fix only fixed a few game exploiters, but your multiplier reset affects 100% of the players. 

I know that everyone in Hospitallers when we're on teamspeak always join the first round and we fight it out to keep our multiplier.  It's a lot of fun actually (fuck banner balance in general, but that's another topic).
