I get a decent amount of lag with TS that I do not ever have in vent. I am not sure why

Mumble is better then TS and vent.

Open source, lower latency. Overall better software , give it a try.

I get the lag on the BRd TS server and the Chaos one.

TS is what works great for our clan, I have no complaints.

For a bit of advertising: there is a free multi-clan TS server out there, Bulldog runs it and offers slots for interested clans.

One big advantage of having multiple clans together in this TS is ease of communication: for Strat battles or inter-clan talks all you need to do is switch channels instead of changing servers or even communication tools.

As soon as they add the option to individually change another persons volume, I'll use mumble.

I actually think voice quality is a little better on TS compared to vent, it may all depend on the codec though. For now I'm still using vent with no reason to switch.

teamspeak is just nice because of all the client features (like voice priority, setting up groups/icons, being able to have channel and server commanders for coordinating in game for large battles).
