You plan out every last detail, location of interception. How many minutes before the the cops can get to you once the alarm is sounded, will that 5 hour window shut in time. Then you work out distance. How far from where you will do the deed to the nearest fence to off the wares.
And after all that careful calculated planing, after all those hours of tracking that bastard through the middle of nowhere. At the last possible second, nothing goes wrong.
