I was on X3 or X4, lost the round but got valour. Next round I have a X2.

Is this normal? I've read a lot of people saying that they had say a X3, got valour and then had a X4.

Also, the modifier doesn't show that it's changed until the first tick. So you'll start the round with a x2 or x1 or whatever and at the tick it'll show the correct value. You will also get the adjusted exp, not a x1.

been getting this a fair bit but once I got and all I did was kill a horse and then run through the mob and make them hit each other, dont think I even did any damage to players but maybe I remember wrong.
