has anyone played in those repeat village battles? Does the village gold amount determine the quality of gear the AI buys? I was curious to see if those villages that have been attacked a 2nd time had stuff other than peasant gear now that they have 100k gold

I ended up getting paid 400 for the last battle I was in, where I went 0:0. In the 4 battles before that I didn't receive anything and had plenty of naked kills so it seems like it must be based on previous performance.

I personally could only get on our team when the game thought I was level 0. When it registered my level, it wasn't putting me on the team. Several restarts & repairs with the same results. So not only did we get shafted on not being able to use our gear, there were some of us who could only get in as a level 0 char...

last strat battle I was in didn't seem to keep the +2 sec per death going. at one point, around 15ish deaths, I only had a +5 or so timer. meaning it was a 20 sec spawn with 15 deaths. which was kind of nice considering Im not a fan of the new spawn/death system. Seems to me that the new spawn system only exaggerates the losing once your team is starting to fall. I personally don't understand the need to, in your words: make it so we play more tactically. If everyone on your team just continues to hold W and return to the front willy nilly it doesnt bode well for your team before the new spawn system. Now it just makes it a lot tougher to come back from an early asskicking. Not only that it really only seems to affect the defenders. When attacking your team naturally has more time/distance to get organized and charge as a unit. When defending, if you actually defend your village and not push out, you're naturally only a few steps from your flags, and if you start to get handicapped by the spawn times you have no real chance of regaining/neturalizing the front

Will each factions roster carry over to the new strat, or will we have to all rejoin our respective factions?

I'm personally not a fan of having to be in close proximity to a faction member to join their faction, especially at the beginning, where you may have to cross the whole map to get near your leader to get into the faction. Also if it carries over leadership can make more of an impromptu decision on what land they want to make a play for. Instead of trying to carve up the map with claims, faction leaders can look to see what general area their people are in and make decisions based on that.

Obviously this is assuming faction members can see each other across the map no matter the distance...I guess that's another question I have, if faction members can always see each other.

I dunno what all the rabble about the gate opening is...When it was opened by the defenders it was obviously an attempt to break our forward spawn, they had a few people spill out, and we had a few people go through the gate, but it was closed basically right after it was opened, maybe 10seconds?. It seemed like to me we finally got a permanent foothold on the front right(attackers right) tower once we had put up decent ladders that the defenders couldn't break without jumping off the walls onto them.

I know there's a bunch of people who play crpg who have tried out PWmod but were turned off by the "roleplaying" rules.  I'm curious if there's a lot of people, like me, who think it has a great faction/castle war system, but is ruined by constantly having to type out your actions in the name of "roleplaying" and the 5-10 minutes of justifying your actions to an admin after the fact.

The slots taken for shields aren't showing up on the website. They still have normal slow count in game.
